Please have a full but comfortable bladder prior to your scan as this aid s with image quality and the position of your baby. For First Glimpse/ all Viability scans – Full bladder please For all other scans a full but comfortable bladder is required and if possible 20 mins prior to scan allow for a sugary drink and some chocolate to help keep baby active for your scan. This will help get baby into the perfect position for your perfect images. Allow plenty of time for your appointment, in case you have to be sent on a walk to get baby into the correct position we need to achieve our desired result, which can often happen.
